I referred to various image source on google and created this art. While looking for images I bumped into a blog : Suja's Creative Collections. This is a very nice blog for Rangoli and other art forms. I found some Warli Art work as well and referred to some designs.
I tried one another Warli Art with some designs. This is easy to do for beginners. I used drawing sheet and Sketch pens. It took me nearly 2 hours to complete. The drawing process gives me immense pleasure. This time I used some colors. I love this art more since it belongs to our country's tribal people and the art form is very easy to begin with but looks very beautiful in the end.
I made a couple of mistakes while drawing in sketch pen. I have corrected it using a Corrector pen. Though it does not stand out at a quick glance but can be noticed when observed carefully. Corrector pen came handy. It is always good to draw in pencil first and then trace with sketch pens to avoid such mishaps.
Google has introduced a new blogger interface which I am finding difficult to figure out my usual stuff. Need some time to get used to the new GUI.
Today I tried Warli Dance form. I referred to various sources on internet. Basically we need to draw circles using a compass to get uniformity in body, face and legs of dancers. Maximum radius I have used is 8 cm. For body I have used 2 cm and legs 1 cm. I used the dance form of Warli art to depict Lord Krishna surrounded by Gopikas. So in the above pic, the center figure is Lord Krishna surrounded by Gopikas dancing. I used drawing sheets and sketch pens. Drawing sheets are available in any stationery store in India.
Yet another model which shares the same name as Corona virus. World is getting heated up with Corona virus. Offices are closed, people are hardly seen on the streets, roads are empty. At this time, I came across this model which has the same name and thought it would be right time to fold.
