This beautiful model is a single sheet origami. I used 8.25 inches square sheets from tuttle.
I would say this is an intermediate model. The twist is a little tricky. I fumbled a lot and took me a little while to figure out. Glad I could finish the model.

Single sheet origami.This is a simple flower, fairly simple to fold. I used 3 inch square harmony papers. It's very pretty flower. Loved it very much.

Oxalis flower kusudama designed by Son Pham.
The units have to be made out of paper with 1:3 ratio. I started with 3 inch or 7.5 cm square paper. Divided into 1:3. So basically the units are made out of 2.5 x 3.5 cm paper.
30 units required. I tried a lot to assemble but the units kept falling apart. I finally gave up and cheated by using glue to assemble. I still need to gain expertise.
