Origami skull. I made this origami for Halloween... October marks the month of Halloween... All houses are decorated with spooky stuff. I love to go for a walk and take a look at all the eerie decorations... Diwali is also in a couple of days but i couldn't find a model to fold for Diwali... So be it... Halloween is somewhat like what we have Mahalaya Amavasya...

I took 9 inch origami paper. This is a single sheet origami tessellation.
This one has a couple of tricky folds. First time I tried, i stopped at one layer since the paper became weak and tore at a couple places. Second attempt came out well since i knew what to do.
16 units required. No glue. I think i used 3 inch origami papers. I don't remember exactly the paper size since i folded this a long time back. I have used harmony papers, Japanese washi and duo papers.
This month somehow I'm posting everyday. It was unplanned. I thought of converting this month to "post a day" month. I hope I'll complete successfully.

This rose box was very challenging for me to fold. I fiddled with paper while collapsing. I took almost an hour and the paper finally tore. Next day i sat and could figure out.
Totally loved this model. It was worth all the pain and effort to figure it out..
