Star icosahedron
Designed by Evan Zodl
Tutorial by Judith Magen from origami folding
I used 4 inch colour burst papers (harmony papers) from Tuttle.... Harmony papers are best suited for this design and looks spectacular... We need to first cut hexagon from square.
20 units required. I used glue for assembly because I didn't have enough patience.
These days it's hard to find motivation to do origami. I folded this after a long time. I literally forced myself to do some art work because it was long time since I folded anything. I find joy in folding modulars. This start icosahedron was in my to-do list from a long time. Finally did it.
Until next time Sayonara 😎
